Climate change slowly causes the earth to become a hot dry desert. Crops fail causing starvation, death and plagues. Only 5% of the people survive these apocalyptic conditions. One Family struggles for over 100 years to survive. Ultimately all remaining humans move into climate controlled domes in the far north or far south where it is cooler. This is a prequel to the novel titled, The Tentacles of Time.
