Does God still speak to His people? This book has numerous examples when the Holy Spirit spoke to Todd in such a way that he knew it was God's voice, and acted accordingly. Jesus said that His sheep would hear his voice. Starting at the age of twelve when Todd first heard the Holy Spirit speak to his heart, he knew without question that it was God speaking. Regretfully, he did not respond. The Lord was calling Todd at a young age to give his life to the Lord, which he did not do until he was twenty-one years old. No, it was not an audible voice, because He doesn't have to speak that way. The Holy Spirit speaks to our spirit and in our thoughts, but it is never in contradiction of God's Word. This is not about mysticism or spiritualism because that is not of God, this is about legitimately hearing within ourselves God's voice for His own purpose. This book is titled "An Amazing Journey", and subtitled "Stones of Remembrance". In reading this book you understand why Todd believes his personal journey has been amazing. But more than that, his intention of the book is to bring others into recognizing their own amazing journey. He strongly believes that every Christian should also have their own stones of remembrance.
