This novel is based on true incidents in New Jersey in the early 1980's. The story describes why five garbage haulers were murdered and who murdered them. In the story, a new D.A.G., Alan Stone is given the assignment to investigate. His assignment brings him into conflict with others in his office, and with the mob. How Stone and the other investigators he works with discover the truth and what they discover, leads to an explosive conclusion.
