After flying into La Guardia Airport, he took the bus to 125th Street and then the 6th Train downtown to Bleecker Street and stayed the first week at Bowery Street. Through the years, he has bounced around the city, living at various places, while steadily promoting his work from his little bookstand on 5th Avenue.
