Cliff, the closeted writer and hopeless romantic, is caught completely off-guard when his addict girlfriend, Gwen, wrecks his heart. He reflects on the two years they spent together to try to figure out where their love affair fell apart as he fought for her sobriety, and in doing so, Cliff discovers his true self and gains a greater understanding of the wild lusts of his love affair with Gwen.
