Author, Dana Holyfield, is the grand-daughter to Harlan Ford, the original Honey Island Swamp Monster hunter, who appeared on the TV show, "In Search Of" in the 1970's to talk about his encounter. After Ford's story aired on National TV, more eye-witness came forth who claimed to have also had an encounter with this legendary creature. So, Holyfield documents other's sightings in this book.
