Reseña del libro

In this small volume former Korean Prisoner of War Patrick V. Quinn shares his personal stories of his time in North Korean/ Chinese prison camps between 1951-1953. A Peek Inside: "All our talk was about food or escape. We were always evaluating our situation. There was no medical care. It was now the survival of the luckiest. All we could do was hope and pray we would be able to survive the half cooked beans and cracked corn which seemed like it was tearing apart our intestines. We were burying at least one and sometimes up to four or five guys every day. We buried all our dead on what we called Boot Hill. What with the frozen and rocky ground we were lucky to dig the graves to a depth of 18 inches. With constant strafing and rocket attacks it was a living hell."
