Reseña del libro

This is the story of two families who owned the land. Hasbrouck was one of the twelve Huguenot families who were granted a tract of land in 1677. These families known as patentees divided the land into 12 shares. They were known as the Duzine, the ruling body until 1826. The Hasbroucks owned the property until 1906 when it became available to the public. In 1919 the Jewett family purchased the land from a previous owner. The 96 years began and so should the story.
