Reseña del libro

Released January 2019 This is Book 4 of 4 This publication was released as 2 Volumes of over 700 pages each. Unfortunately, I am unable to print more than about 500 pages in one book, so I split the 2 Volumes into 4 Books. Volume 1, INVASION INSURGENCY CIVIL WAR 2003-2006Book 1 - Chapters 1 thru 14Book 2 - Chapters 15 thru 23Volume 2, SURGE AND WITHDRAWAL 2007-2011Book 3 - Chapters 1 thru 10Book 4 - Chapters 11 thru 17 In May 2003, while working as a civilian at the Defense Intelligence Agency, I was asked to go to Iraq on one day's notice in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF). I must admit, that was probably the most exciting time in my life - at least since Vietnam. Having lived through some of that, I found this book very informative and enlightening. I now understand a lot better what was going on, and in retrospect, I wish I knew then what I know now. Every war is different and OIF was very different from the Vietnam experience. Unlike Vietnam, OIF was an all-volunteer force. The attitude of the folks I worked with from all branches of the military was terrific. They were upbeat and had a positive attitude. I must admit I was amazed at how young everyone was. A lot of the time, I was the oldest one in the room. I was proud to be there and support the troops and did everything I could to make their job easier. Looking back on that time, I wouldn't trade it for anything in the world. This is not the same Army, Navy Air Force or Marine Corps that we had in the 1970's. The level of professionalism was remarkable. Everybody knew their job and I had the benefit of working with some of the smartest and bravest Americans you will ever meet. It made me proud to be an American. Why buy a book you can download for free? We print this book so you don't have to.First you gotta find a good clean (legible) copy and make sure it's the latest version (not always easy). If you find a good copy, you could print it using a network printer you share with 100 other people (typically its either out of paper or toner). If it's just a 10-page document, no problem, but if it's 250-pages, you will need to punch 3 holes in all those pages and put it in a 3-ring binder. Takes at least an hour. It's much more cost-effective to just order the latest version from Amazon.comhttps: //usgovpub.com
