Youth is the third novel in Leo Tolstoy's autobiographical trilogy, following Childhood and Youth. The plot of the novel is based on the an ordinary Russian adolescent in the 19th century - "Nikolenka." The novel describes his time at university, a time which is filled with philosophical musings and adolescent escapades.
