On the eve of a glorious Christmas celebration at Lioncross Abbey, Welsh rebels make an unexpected move against a nearby village. Thinking it will be a relatively simple thing to chase them off, Christopher de Lohr, David de Lohr, Marcus Burton, and Christopher's eldest son, Peter, don their armor and ride out with the army to vanquish the Welsh invaders. But it wasn't so simple. The Welsh prove vicious on this holiest of holidays and Christopher is unexpectedly wounded, knocked into a flowing river. As David, Marcus, and Peter jump in to save him, they are all washed downriver on this snowy night. Knowing they must find shelter or freeze to death, they seek safe haven in the arms of the enemy - a Welsh manor. It is a blessed de Lohr Christmas as Christopher, David, Marcus, and Peter use their wits and ingenuity to survive the night and return to those they love.
