Reseña del libro "Anchorite among ruins (en Inglés)"
This work is a compilation of a certain experience lived in 1988, based on a field diary of a trip to Europe. The author takes on the task of reconstructing past -and fascinating- experiences in the form of stories, where he combines memory with creativity; it is an exercise of imagination and thought, where we could say that Art is the protagonist, since this trip was a search for the genius of the great Renaissance masters as a source of inspiration, however this search found, without intending it, unique and fantastic characters, that the author himself doubts if they were the fruit of his imagination, or if they emerged from his own dreams, or if they were finally real. To read these lines is to approach the old continent from a different angle, from the vision of a Mexican who faces an imposing, dangerous Europe, jealous of its past, but which in the end, like a great lady, opens its doors to invite him to some of its deepest and most nostalgic secrets, which in literary form, the author shares with us.
