Some are simple enough for beginner colorists, while other drawings are challenging for advanced colorists. Methods of simple line drawings, and shading from stippling, dots, and cross-hatching are added throughout the illustrations to provide the colorist with hints of shading so they know where to increase the deepness or hue of their coloring media. In addition, the artist has expanded the fairies ethnic backgrounds and characteristics to include, Caucasian, African-American, Asian, plump, pregnant, and old (grandmother, grandfather) fairy faces and features. This book should appeal to all ages and ethnic groups. There are 50+ differently designed line art illustrations in this book as well as 24+ samples of line art from the artist's other coloring books to play with.
