In remote Hokkaido, a group of Japanese scientists are awakened from cryo-sleep halfway through their journey back home. They hear gunshots outside the sub, and are disturbed by a Russian submarine shooting at a sea lion. Adam adopts the creature, while the crew contact Danny, who is summoned by Father to investigate the matter further. The same signal that woke them up, is the same signal the Russains were working on. They encounter a nest of eggs inside the cave; which spits out parasites. One of those creatures attaches itself to Han's mask; which causes him to fall into a coma. After he wakes from his slumber, a monster claws its way out of his anus. While this is happening, the sea lion eats the other sea lions in the sub; which results in the creature getting torched by Carl with a flamethrower. Brian discovers that the beast can imitate anything it touches. Now it's up to Danny & Crew to stop the creature before it stops them.
