This is a rhyming picture book of bugs and insects that can be used as a guessing game as well. Clues are given about a bug or insect using rhyming descriptions. After the clues are read, children are shown four pictures of different insects and bugs. Base on the simple rhyming clues that were given, children are asked to pick the insect or bug that they believe is being described. The clues are shaded in colors. This picture book allows teachers and parents to introduce their students and children to insects and bugs that the children may not be familiar with, and to discuss their differences. Such as: Where do the bugs and insects live? What are the differences they can see? And so on. This rhyming picture book helps to develop children's cognitive skills and phonetic development, and is also a great book to introduce reading to young children.
