In the violence that ensued, Kevin was shot, and Sergeant Stil was given charge of getting him to medical. Most routes were blocked, so Sergeant Stil opted for a quick shuttle skip around the outer sphere. Then Simon stepped into their shuttle before take-off, and their trajectory went askew. Through a wormhole that took them far from Euphantius, family, friends, and anything familiar. Spitting them out just beyond the Solar System. Home to Earth where everyone, and everything, wants them dead. Adding to his daze of confusion and loss, Kevin underwent a little change during transit. He's come out of the wormhole with a 12 year old body. If the pain of such a radical growth spurt doesn't kill him, the emotional cost and a five percent survival ratio might just do the trick!
