Learning strategies have been identified as the method that good language learners use to successfully learn a language. Each learner has a set repertoire of strategies that they use despite the learning context. Adults and young adults transfer learning strategies from their previous learning contexts to language learning. But to what extent will such strategies help them attain success in language learning?
