Susanna Clarke (Nottingham, 1959) es una escritora británica reconocida por su enfoque distintivo en la fantasía histórica. Su debut literario, Jonathan Strange y el señor Norrell (2004), combina magia y realismo en una Inglaterra alternativa del siglo XIX. La novela fue un éxito internacional, vendiendo más de cuatro millones de copias y obteniendo premios como el Hugo y el World Fantasy Award.
