The Present study aimed at investigating the effectiveness of a counseling mindfulness-based program in improving psychological resilience among university students, and its continued impact on improving psychological resilience in university students after the program, The study sample consisted of (50) students at damanhour university who got the lowest scores in psychological resilience scale by (Connor & Davidson, 2003), the participants were randomly divided into two groups: an experimental group and a control one, with (25) students in each with Mean (20.70) and Standard Deviation (1.52). While the experimental group administered the counseling program, the control one did not receive any treatment. Results showed that there were statistically significant differences between the scores of the experimental group participants and those of the control group in favor of the experimental group as their psychological resilience and mindfulness degree increased (dimensions and total score), which signified the effectiveness of the program administered after a month of follow-up.
