After many years of following "the Toon", meeting some fascinating people, all with stories to tell, and arguments to have, about who is the best player, manager, the greatest game, etc., I was inspired to create a 'statistical journey' through the history of Newcastle United. This took the form of my website "toon1892.com" and as a direct product of that, following many requests for a reference manual, "Newcastle United Manager Menagerie" was born.
