Fernando Pessoa (1888-1935) fue un poeta, escritor y filósofo portugués, considerado una de las figuras literarias más destacadas del siglo XX. Nacido en Lisboa, desarrolló una obra literaria prolífica y compleja, caracterizada por la creación de heterónimos, personalidades literarias con biografías y estilos propios. Además de su producción literaria, trabajó como traductor y editor, y fue un profundo conocedor de la filosofía y la esoterismo.
