Arlen Farosey, an analyst for a think tank in Dallas, stumbles across an enigmatic footnote while doing research on a project and discovers a secret cabal of men known as Group Nine. He challenges St. Clair to prove that his claim that he is from the future by allowing Arlen to accompany him on a time travel excursion using the time travel technology that St. Clair claims to possess.Will Arlen visit the future? Is St. Clair who he claims to be or is he a fraud? Is time travel a possibility, or is it all in his head? Scientists have speculated that all of our perceptions may be in constant flux.
