Reseña del libro "The Greatest Gift (en Inglés)"

Why this book? Starting with the origins of the Universe, describing the unique features of our planet, reviewing important aspects of quantum physics, and cell biology, I have concluded that: A.A Creator (God) exists; that there is a soul; that we can and should enjoy a long, healthy, happy life. Daily we should be thankful for our existence and be a giver. We are responsible for our thoughts and actions. By learning about wellness, we can maximize our potential and extend our life-span with health and happiness, and succeed in the bumpy road to success. This book accomplishes my intention to summarize many important subjects and emphasizes strategies which will allow us to live longer and better. B.The universe (or cosmos) comprises all of the existing matter, energy, and space. Assuming there is only one universe, we can theorize that once upon a time, all the energy of our universe formed all the existing matter. From the initial "explosion" (Big Bang), which occurred about 13.798 billion years ago, galaxies were formed; one was the Milky Way. As a result of the explosion of a supernova, the solar system developed. The third closest planet to the Sun became Planet Earth, which was forged from the remaining chemically enriched debris. Planets are made of dust, rocks, and gravity. Earth was bombarded by meteors, which contained water, minerals and organic material. The matter in our planet consists of molecules made of small and large atoms (many came from other celestial bodies) from which inorganic and subsequent organic molecules were formed. From these formations, life most likely originated, first in the oceans. Simple forms of life lead to more complex ones. From them, cells evolved, probably first aquatic and then terrestrial. Among the latter, the hominoid line ascended, and, finally, men and women (Homo sapiens), populated our planet, alongside with animals and plants. Until when? Depends on both inevitable and preventable occurrences. Our sun will eventually cease to exist (will run out of fuel). Our planet will inexorably succumb (after the demise of the sun) or perhaps destroyed by the collision of meteors/asteroids, rogue planets (protoplanets). In the meantime, it is up to us to keep it livable, clean and beautiful, or to destroy it prematurely through pollution, wars and man-made disasters. The chapters will include: 1)When and How Did It All Happen? 2)Why is Earth a Special Planet? 3)What is Life? 4)What Are We? 5)Does God (a Creator) Exist? 6)Is There a Soul? 7)What Are the Most Important Things in Life? 8)What Should We Do Daily? And, finally, 9)What is Next?
