The first portion of the book describes the process of evocation, and the making of a pact with Lucifuge Rofocale the Infernal "Prime Minister" who controls all the wealth and treasures of the world. The second part of the book, the Sanctum Regnum, or "holy kingdom" details a hierarchy of an additional 26 spirits, and their powers. Also included is a comprehensive essay that covers the development of magic, the history of the book itself, the witch trials, the Inquisition, the spread of the grimoires through Europe, and much more. Also included are sigils, and images of the spirits, many never seen before. This will aid the magician in concentration and visualization on the spirits, so that they may be evoked for practical purposes.
