Wallace D. Wattles, born in 1860, was a New Thought writer best known as the author of 'The Science of Getting Rich' which was originally published in 1903, shortly before his untimely death in 1911 at the age of 51. The ideas in his book are so popular that they found themselves in many subsequent publications by different authors--even one hundred years after it's publication. Rhonda Byrne's book 'The Secret' is based off these New Thought concepts and has sold over 20 million copies worldwide. These concepts have been shown to produce tremendous wealth, but no one truly understands how or why. The premise of the book is that if you take the what on faith, then the how and the why do not matter, as long as your desired outcome is achieved. If you achieve happiness or financial freedom from reading this book, then you have inadvertently believed in the thought that has now become wholly manifested. Wattles structures his teaching through initial priming that our thoughts are the most powerful force in existence, followed by the revelation that living your life in 'the certain way' will lead to personal success, wealth, and true happiness. Wattles wants us to realize that great success starts from a persistent thought and that this success can take years to develop, but only if we live life in a certain way. This certain way is the law of attraction. In college, Sheryl Sandberg founded an organization in called 'Women in Economics and Government'. Two decades later, she had a famous TED talk in December 2010 on gender disparity in leadership positions. A few years later, she empowered millions of women through her non-profit leanin.org and sold millions of copies of her book 'Lean In'. The thoughts that made it into her book were formed long before the book was ever written. This is a profound insight, that you will recognize when you complete this book.
