Dr. Pine reads extensively and continues to attend both national and international meetings in his field. Additionally, Dr. Pine is an active participant in yearly medical missions to Vietnam and the team leader for Everest Medical Expedition. His particular areas of interest include: tonsil and adenoid problems, recurrent ear infections, foreign body removal, airway evaluations, and of course, ear tubes. Dr. Danielle P. Smith graduated medical school from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas. She completed a five-year residency in otolaryngology - head and neck surgery at UT Health San Antonio in San Antonio, TX. She then went on to complete a fellowship in pediatric otolaryngology at Children's National Hospital in Washington, DC. She is currently a practicing pediatric otolaryngologist at Dell Children's Medical Group in Austin, Texas. She enjoys all aspects of pediatric otolaryngology, with particular interests in pediatric voice disorders, aerodigestive disorders, airway management, and pediatric sinus disease.
