This book is a fun adaptation of a tried and true story that has been entertaining children for years. The black & white format and stylized simple illustrations make a refreshing visual change. Though there are many versions of the "Old Lady Who Swallowed A Fly" this is the first to question why. Adapting it to have a Halloween twist makes it a great book for the Halloween season. Reading and sharing this with your children is a fun way to get into the Halloween spirit. This is the author's third children's book. Her first children's book was "Amazing Petunia's Adventures" and is available on Amazon with plans to make it into a children's animation. Website is Beginwithastory.com. Judy England-McCarthy a professional storyteller, author & poet. She shared her original tales at the National Storytelling Conference twice and her poem was presented at "The Just Listening Project." Another poem won 1st place at Fanstory.com in 2020.
