December has come to the Lonely Hollow retreat, and business is slow for owner Jessica Lowell. The North Point Friends Group has checked in for the week to prepare for a holiday craft show at the local convention center. As the week progresses, two members of the group are physically attacked and several items are stolen from their crafting supplies. Detective Brian Larson once again takes the lead in investigating the case and Jessica welcomes his help.As she talks to the guests, Jessica notices tension among the group members and begins to suspect that one of them is engineering the vicious pranks. When another guest with a connection to the group is killed, she turns to her friends to help her find out more about the group and their activities before coming to Lonely Hollow. When the criminal gets closer to their final goal, Jessica attempts to solve the crime on her own and restore a peaceful season to Lonely Hollow.
