I have always found it easy to write poetry. My poetry is how I express myself every time I feel overwhelmed by things happening around me. Writing is how I heal. I have been told that my poems are relatable, I appreciate that because as a young girl I was always drawn to content that I could relate to. Eventually, I started to write poems for different people in my life, and it became a way for my friends to share a part of their lives with me. Over time, my poems have helped me build relationships with different people as well as strengthen the relationship I have with myself. I write about love, loss, culture, and ambition among other things. I wish to never stop writing.
