Reseña del libro "A Palestinian Conspiracy (en Inglés)"

An act of terrorism in a suburban American synagogue generates mass chaos as congregants panic, clawing and pushing their way toward the exit doors seeking safety, as victims lie dead on the dais and the injured, remain sprawled among the pews, left behind by a stampeding crowd. The assailants, taking advantage of the immediate hysteria, steal away unscathed, their mission a masterful success. Once the frenzy has subsided, a stunned community gropes for answers as to why two highly-respected congregants, one, the president of the brotherhood, would suddenly fire on their own people. Josef Levi, beneficent, Jewish philanthropist, his real identity being Khalid Kaveh, notorious Palestinian assassin, having earned the friendship and respect of the rabbinate and members of the Woodlawn Hebrew Congregation, has been able to mastermind the perfect plan to carry out the contract for which he has been hired. Several days later, ensconced in his Libyan safe-place, Kaveh accesses his on-line account to transfer the remainder of the payment owed him, but finds the transaction voided. He will not receive the millions he has been promised. Fuming with anger, he realizes that he is a victim of a ruse and vows that those responsible will pay for their treachery. Enter local sheriff John Benson, a big man with a bigger heart, and David Mercer federal agent, grieving for the death of his fiancée during the massacre. The search is on for the killers as Benson and Mercer encounter a maze of murders, money laundering, and corporate malfeasance. Written in a heart-racing tempo for the mystery/thriller enthusiast, A Palestinian Conspiracy is an intriguing, spellbinding page-turner with a mind-boggling conclusion.
