The volume adopts an intersectional approach to explore these experiences, which is central to understanding the multiple and complex ways in which exclusion and marginalization take place. To this end, the volume is not just a book about migration, but a way in which migratory experiences and statuses can intersect with other factors such as age, gender, race, and sexuality.
