Reseña del libro "After the Parting (en Inglés)"

Meier's After the Parting is a vast, intricately composed collection that maps grief, memory, history, and selfhood across layered geographies and deep time. Moving through poetic sequences that engage with ancient seas, mythic landscapes, familial remnants, and political ghosts, the collection blends lyric intensity with philosophical inquiry. The language is both meditative and hallucinatory, attentive to loss and transformation, drawing from Chinese, European, and diasporic perspectives. Formally varied and richly textured, it constructs a poetics of distance-temporal, spatial, and emotional-while constantly gesturing toward connection.
