Reseña del libro "Among the Folks in History (en Inglés)"

Gaar Campbell Williams (1880-1935) was an American newspaper cartoonist (born in Richmond, Indiana) best known for his work at the Indianapolis News and Chicago Tribune. His panel comic art depicted amusing slice-of-life moments with nostalgic appeal, especially focusing on the Gilded Age in small Midwest towns. This was a period of cultural and technological change, from the horse-and-buggy days to the emergence of those newfangled automobiles, providing ample opportunity for humor and sentimental observation. Among the Folks in History was a posthumous collection published in 1935.
