Reseña del libro "Bound by an Electric Chair (en Inglés)"

The digital mountain is infinite. Content creators no longer climb the metric peaks to simply broadcast-sometimes they are systematically harvested by the very data distribution architecture they attempt to exploit. Fresh out of a North Korean cell after six months of diplomatic chaos, blacklisted internet outcast Youseff So Smallee is finally back on western soil. Bankrupt, deplatformed, and thoroughly toxic to corporate sponsors, he is reduced to couch-surfing in his manager Leo's minimalist, fourth-floor apartment in a low-rent sector of Campbell River, British Columbia. With his global notoriety at an all-time high but his bank account completely drained, Smallee is determined to launch a ruthless digital resurrection. Then, a lucky scratch-off lottery ticket lands him a thousand dollars. Hoping to upgrade their bleak streaming environment, Smallee intends to buy Leo a much needed chair from a local Goodwill store. But instead of standard ergonomics, they discover a unique piece that they purchase instead. Something far more sinister: an authentic, decommissioned Electric Chair. Yet, this $666 piece of furniture hides a supernatural, tech-defying anomaly. It acts as a real-time algorithmic invisibility cloak. Whenever Smallee sits, automated ban-evasion trackers and platform protocols lose sight of him completely. He can stream anything, uncensored, untouchable, and completely invisible to the forces that blacklisted him. The catch? The absolute millisecond he leaves the cushion, his livestream is terminated, and his digital footprint is entirely erased; he must start over from scratch. Forced into an involuntary, high-stakes marathon broadcast, Smallee stays permanently glued to his grim throne. While he endures the physical toll of an endless stream, Leo-his 20% academic manager-frantically navigates a digital empire sprouting around them. Together, they must out-fund adversarial cartels, manipulate text-to-speech macros, and dodge the bizarre, creeping figure who sold them the chair in the first place. As the physical apartment transforms into a warm, mammalian server rack, the boundaries of human latency dissolve entirely. The network does not tolerate a vacuum. The fortress must be built from within. And the creepy old man is still logged in.
