Cuentos para Ensoñar son una serie de seis cuentos alegóricos que tienen un mensaje que apunta a crear conciencia sobre la naturaleza y el crecimiento personal.Los personajes principales son animales que interactúan, en algunos casos, con otros personajes, especialmente, mujeres y niños.El significado de estas historias motiva a respetar y amar a nuestro entorno natural, poniendo emociones a los protagonistas y dando sentido a las historias.Es importante comprender que el planeta en el que vivimos es «nuestro hogar», y tanto las plantas como los animales son también inquilinos y compañeros de viaje.Por eso decidí rescatar estos seis cuentos de mi juventud, porque creo que ahora más que nunca es necesario comenzar a respetar, amar y proteger a la naturaleza, es hora de verla con diferentes ojos y adoptar nuevas actitudes hacia esta.Cada una de las historias es simbólica y nos ayuda a comprender algunos aspectos de nuestra persona, ya que son extrapolables a nuestras emociones más humanas, que en algunos casos requieren de un nuevo enfoque y un cambio de actitud hacia la vida, la muerte, la trascendencia, el amor, el dolor, etc.Decidí llamar a este trabajo Cuentos para ensoñar porque algunas de las personas que los habían leído me dijeron que habían soñado con alguno de estos. Hubo una experiencia interesante que comentó una mujer que es una crítica literaria, pero que había sido fóbica con los animales toda su vida. Después de leer las historias, me contó que un día se vio a sí misma visitando una tienda de mascotas en un centro comercial en la ciudad de México, un acto totalmente inconsciente, hasta que se dio cuenta de dónde estaba y que ya no sentía miedo. After reading the stories, she told me that one day she saw herself visiting an pet store in a shopping center in Mexico City, a totally unconscious act, until he realized where he was and that he no longer had fear.
