In his first published work, author Ted J. Rumsey paints a vivid picture of life and action on Diamond Mountain. But the story within the story is Rumsey himself. This book was pub-lished by his children as a memorial to their father, who passed away in 1999. By doing so, they are honoring him and sharing his enchant-ing writing style with those who did not have the pleasure of knowing Ted J. Rumsey.
