John Williams (1922-1994) fue un escritor y profesor estadounidense, conocido por sus novelas de ficción literaria. También es autor de Butcher’s Crossing (1960), una historia ambientada en el Oeste americano, y Augustus (1972), una novela histórica que le valió el National Book Award.
