After reading this book that contains easily understood colored graphs, you will be amazed that global climate has been cyclic for over 500 million years and that the current warming trend started roughly 18,000 years ago by natural processes. Dr. Silver is a geoscientist whose career includes industry as well as being a faculty member at two large state universities. His research is focused on milieu of sedimentary rocks that range in age from 450 million years to the present-day coral reefs in Belize, C.A. Burr and his wife live primarily in Granbury, Texas.
