In her debut book, From Darkness to Light, author Shirley Ann Colón shares her powerful testimony of how God delivered her from depression and suicidal thoughts, restoring her life in the process. Inspired by the Holy Spirit, she uses her life experiences to provide people with the tools they need to fight against the enemy.

Born in Guayama, Puerto Rico, in 1986, Shirley currently lives in Florida with her husband and daughters. She has been serving the Lord since 2015. She hosts a weekly YouTube program called Esperanza en medio de los tiempos (Hope in the Midst of the Times), in which she preaches the Word of God.

She also teaches Bible study classes to young children at her church.
