Reseña del libro "Hope Never Fails!: Poems and Prayers of Blessing"
Hope Never Fails! Poems and Prayers of Blessing is a collection of poems and prayers written in a variety of styles, which deal with major themes in the life of a contemporary Christian. The purpose of this simple work is to help you reflect and pray. I chose the title of this book reflecting the proclamation of St, Paul, The Apostle to the Jews and Gentiles, in his epistle to the Romans chapter 5, verse 5. The same word hope the noun, esperanza, is the same root word for the verb to wait esperar because what we hope for we don’t yet have; however, we remain con-ident that we will have what we need when we need it unto life. Hope requires great patience bigtime! Despair, having no hope, is one of the worst things we can experience. . My many poems and prayers address our times written through a uniquely prophetic Christian perspective, while honoring the perspectives of all religions, spiritualities, and people of good will. Various perspectives should never divide us! We can hold our personal perspective close to our hearts and others’ differing perspectives close to our hearts as well. There are many roads to the true, the good, and the beautiful – the trinity of the three transcendentals, which the ancient Greek philosophers proclaimed! We who share great diversity simultaneously share great unity on our common ground, mother earth, to which we will all return someday! We all share the same mother! Thus, we are mothers and fathers and sisters and brothers to one another! Far too often during the history of humanity religion has been a source of division and hate, rather than a source of unity and love!
