Philippe Aghion es un economista francés reconocido por sus aportes a la teoría del crecimiento endógeno y la innovación como motor del desarrollo económico. Nacido en París en 1956, ha sido profesor en instituciones de prestigio como la Universidad de Harvard y el Collège de France. Su investigación ha influido en la comprensión de cómo la competencia, la innovación tecnológica y las políticas públicas interactúan para impulsar el progreso económico.
