Reseña del libro "Legion of Super-Heroes by Mark Waid and Barry Kitson Omnibus (en Inglés)"
A bold new future begins here—Mark Waid and Barry Kitson reinvent the Legion of Super-Heroes for a new generation, blending cosmic adventure, teenage rebellion, and sweeping sci-fi world-building into a definitive modern era.
The 31st century is broken—and only the Legion can fix it. In this ambitious reinvention of DC’s iconic teen super-team, Mark Waid (Kingdom Come, The Flash, Irredeemable) and Barry Kitson (JLA: Year One, Empire) rebuild the Legion from the ground up, crafting a thrilling saga of revolution, idealism, and cosmic-scale heroism. In a future where conformity has replaced curiosity and safety has smothered freedom, a new generation of super-powered teens rises to challenge the status quo. Led by Saturn Girl, Cosmic Boy, and Lightning Lad, the Legion becomes a symbol of rebellion and hope—recruiting across the stars, clashing with oppressive regimes, and redefining what heroism means in a universe that has forgotten its own history.
This comprehensive omnibus follows the team through political upheaval, interplanetary crises, and explosive battles, culminating in the era-defining arrival of Supergirl in the 31st century. Reality fractures, alliances shift, and each hero confronts their place within a movement larger than themselves. With its rich ensemble dynamics, sharp humor, and widescreen sci-fi spectacle, this is one of the most accessible, energetic, and influential Legion runs of the modern age.
