He is hailed as the greatest poet of the twentieth century. His poetry revived the destiny and dreams of a continent. This volume is composed of two autobiographical works by the celebrated Chilean poet Pablo Neruda: the prose memoir I Confess That I Have Lived and the poetic memoir Memorial of Isla Negra . The former stands on its own as a complete prose narrative. To make this edition more distinctive, the poetic memoir Memorial of Isla Negra is translated into Chinese for the first time and presented together with the prose memoir in this combined volume of The Memoirs of Pablo Neruda, offering a fuller and richer portrait of the poet's life . This collection is essential reading for anyone seeking to understand Neruda's thoughts and creative vision, and holds significant value for lovers of literature and poetry alike. Read more
