This booklet was created as an offering to the Waldorf teacher's further development, and to the artist who has a taste for some art, study or pursuit, but does not practice it. For the Teacher and the artist alike who will partake in these practices, it is an initiation into not only what it means to train as an actor, but how the actor that is developed will give you deeper spiritual depth, greater physical connection and refined emotional understanding in all you do. In these pages, I have woven together a unique tapestry of practice inspired by three great philosophies: those of Frederick Matthias Alexander, Michael Chekhov, and Rudolf Steiner. Drawing from these Three Great Pillars, each marking its own landscape of philosophy, gesture, and emotional truth, I have distilled through, both on and off stage, in training and practical, real -world experience, a guide of curated, workshop-ready exercises entirely of my own creation.
