The Lazarus edition of The Barbaric YAWP marks the resurrection of Carlisle High School's esteemed student writing anthology. We have had the good fortune of being surrounded by a thriving and enthusiastic community at CHS, comprised of teachers and students who have come together to make Lazarus possible. The response that we received upon the reintroduction of The Barbaric YAWP this year was amazing: dozens of students submitted work to be considered, and our editorial board, made up of fellow Carlisle High School students, has examined every submission to select the variety of pieces that you now hold. The anthology stretches across multiple genres, from poetry to memoir, capturing the voices that make CHS such a joy to be a part of.
