There was something special and mysterious about the house and the house's previous owners. The current owners inherited the property and decided to turn the house into an inn. They believed that it would be a retreat for the family and anyone else that needed a few days of respite in a relaxing location. Those lucky guests who did stay the night or spend a weekend were treated to down-home cooking that was often just what was needed to relieve stress and rekindle memories of childhood favorite activities. The Inn seemed to have a mysterious quality that helped troubled people find answers to pressing problems. Inside was a warm and inviting ambiance.Outside, shadows created by rose bushes and ornamental flowers cast imaginative outlines on the grounds in front of the house. Even on dark, rainy, and stormy nights the house and shadows felt welcoming. Many people imagined angels standing watch. They felt peaceful and serene. No one ever felt any fear. Guests sensed that everything would be all right. The Inn had a magical effect on everyone.The owners were used to telling the history to visitors. New guests meant it was time to share it once again.
