Reseña del libro "The Honeyman's Son (en Inglés)"

The Honeyman's Son is a coming of age story set in 1930s America during a time of substantial change, as the country is struggling to dig itself out of the squalor of the Great Depression. Reginald Tigerous began working with his father on the Honeywagon at the age of seven. His first day on the job thrust him into a life of ridicule and ostracism. Now, 17-years-old, he is about to graduate from high school and dreams of going to college, but his father has plans to retire and pass the family business down to his son, making their already strained relationship even worse.Reggie wants to pursue his own wants and desires. He wants to live a life that is free from job prejudice and professional persecution, but feels trapped into accepting his legacy. After witnessing a friend's murder, a racial incident in town, sends him on the run fleeing for his life. Reggie hops a freight train and begins a harrowing adventure filled with danger, suspense, and regret. Unsure of what else to do, he decides to search for his long lost mother...the mother he always loved and missed...but never knew.
