In the third book "The Impressions" by Luba Kanchan the reader gets the most complete picture of the inner world of the author, her honest reaction on the most valuable events of the real life in the Soviet Union. "I lived in this time. I breathe this air." Her diary (1981-1987) reflects one of the most important periods in the life of the country - the so-called Perestroika (reconstruction).
