The Leaf That Went On An Unexpected Road Trip (en Inglés) - Laure A Stack

What happens when a little leaf is suddenly carried far away from everything he has ever known?

High in an oak tree in the mountains of Southern California, a little leaf is comfortable in his familiar home. But one day, an unexpected gust of wind sends him tumbling onto a car, beginning an adventure he never planned.

As the car travels from the mountains through new and unfamiliar places, the little leaf finds himself facing situations beyond his control. Everything feels strange and frightening at first, and he doesn’t know what will happen next.

Along the way, however, the leaf begins to discover that new experiences don’t always have to be feared. With courage, trust, and a willingness to embrace the unknown, an unexpected change can become an unforgettable adventure.

The Leaf That Went On An Unexpected Road Trip is a heartwarming children’s story about overcoming fear, adapting to change, trying new things, and finding courage when life takes an unexpected turn.

Inspired by author and educator Laure A. Stack’s own experience with a leaf that remained on her car during a road trip, this story helps young readers understand that unfamiliar situations such as starting a new school, entering a new classroom, moving to a new home, or facing a new opportunity can feel scary, but they can also lead to growth and wonderful new experiences.
