Caroline Kepnes (Barnstable, Massachusetts, 1976) es una escritora y guionista estadounidense reconocida por su serie de novelas de suspense psicológico protagonizadas por Joe Goldberg. Tras graduarse en Civilización Estadounidense por la Universidad de Brown, trabajó como periodista de entretenimiento y guionista en series como 7th Heaven y The Secret Life of the American Teenager.
